Playing in the dirt can be fun, but it leaves a mess.
lyrics
You're like a mudslide in the way you're fun at first, but now I'm driving home with this shit on my shirt.
I'm rolling in the dirt and dancing in the rain.
What's a good time without a couple stains?
Draw me a smile.
Because I can never remember the curves of your lips.
It's been a while, since I've felt the touch of your soft smooth hips.
So, sing me a song, or throw me a bone.
No one ever likes feeling all alone, but you're doing fine at that.
Who'd ever have known that you were always a house but you were never a home.
No you were never.
No you were never.
You're like a mudslide in the way you're fun at first, but now I'm driving home with this shit on my shirt.
I'm rolling in the dirt and dancing in the rain.
What's a good time without a couple stains?
They'll never wash out.
I'm washed up.
Your dress is spotless.
You got me fucked up.
Have fun walking home alone.
Have fun walking home alone.
Paint me a picture, of whatever it was you decided to call it.
I was quicker, to give it a name but it's all the same when it's over and done with.
I hope you had fun with stupid little kids that have no idea how to call somebody pretty, how to sing them a song.
They just play along with what they see in the media.
And it's a shame, that on my rise to fame you'll be the reason my songs are catchy as hell.
Do you feel the pain that I'm singing of?
You were never one to kiss and tell.
And I didn't mean to be this hard on you, it's just been hard on me.
All I do is exaggerate, I complicate, I stay up late, to contemplate what you did to me.
You're like a mudslide in the way you're fun at first, but now I'm driving home with this shit on my shirt.
I'm rolling in the dirt and dancing in the rain.
What's a good time without a couple stains?
You're like a mudslide in the way you're fun at first, but now I'm driving home with this shit on my shirt.
I'm rolling in the dirt and dancing in the rain.
What's a good time without a couple stains?
They'll never wash out.
I'm washed up.
Your dress is spotless.
You got me fucked up.
Have fun walking home alone.
Have fun walking home alone.
I've met Tyler once at a show and he was the coolest dude ever. He's starting to be one of my favorite artist. His lyrics and the melody and everything goes so well. This is album is on my top 10 favorite acoustic albums of all time. Good job Tyler, keep it going. Eddie Pelaez

On “Meet Me By the River,” Dawn Landes’s self-described “Nashville record,” buoyant country melodies settle deep into lush instrumentation. Bandcamp New & Notable May 7, 2018
HOLY CRAP!!! These guys are genius! The music is great, but lets face it, many bands have great musicianship. What puts this band above the rest is brandan's rock solid vocals and well structured lyrics. The songs are so honest and relatable. "...The sweetest thing that anyone's done for me." is write this EP. Keep up the good work, can't wait for more! scott vickery
